Entonces, ¿qué puede esperar la gente que se acerca a vuestro concierto esta noche?

Mark: Puedes esperar un fantástico y duro concierto de una banda de Rock and Roll.

Steve: canciones viejas, canciones nuevas, canciones de entre medio.

Mark: Buenos tiempos, malos tiempos, humor, depresión. Se trata básicamente de la vida dentro de una hora y media. El embarazo, el nacimiento, la muerte. Steve generalmente nace de nuevo en el escenario.

Steve: Yo actúo en realidad. Nazco en el escenario. Es una especie de rutina de ballet.

Acabáis de publicar Vanishing Point, ¿cómo os está yendo?

Steve: Parece que va bien, me ha sorprendido por las buenas palabras que ha tenido el disco.

Mark – Parece que hay una gran cantidad de personas que acuden a los conciertos que ya conocen las letras, lo cual es una buena señal.

Para mí, este álbum parece mucho más limpio que algunos de vuestros trabajos anteriores, ¿era esta la intención o simplemente habéis hecho canciones que queríais tocar simplemente?

Mark – ¡Sí! eso último!

Steve – No te se decir, hay una gran variedad de sonido en nuestras canciones, pero creo que hay un poco de guitarra sucia en él. Está bien grabado, por Johnny SangsteI, solo puedo decir eso.

Mark – En las cuatro canciones que toco, no usé ningún fuzz.

Así que habéis estado escribiendo canciones desde hace un tiempo. ¿A través de los años sentís que vuestras influencias y lo que os da ganas de escribir canciones ha cambiado?

Steve – la lista de influencias ha crecido sin duda a través de los años. No creo que haya un tipo de música del siglo XX o XXI que al menos a uno de nosotros no nos guste.

Mark – Yo diría que el funk metal y el rap metal, es algo que no le gusta a nadie de la banda.

Steve – Además de eso! Ya sabes, intentamos poner otras influencias en la mezcla. No se trata de establecer algo predeterminado, pero es lo que hacemos en este momento.

So what can people expect that are coming to your show tonight?

Mark: You can expect a fire and kick a rock set

Steve: Old songs, new songs, inbetween songs

Mark: Good times, bad times, humour, depression. It’s basically life in about an hour and a half. Pregnancy, birth, death.   Steve usually gives birth on stage.

Steve: I act it out. I am birthed on stage. It’s sort of a ballet routine.

You guys have just released Vanishing Point, how’s that going down?  

Steve- It seems to be going fine, I’ve been surprised by the good words for it.

Mark – There seems to be a lot of people who turn up to the shows that already know the words, which is a good sign.

To me, this album seems a lot cleaner than some of your past work, was this the intention or did you just wanna play songs you like playing and get them down?

Mark – Yes! The latter!

Steve – I can’t tell, there’s a somewhat limited sonic variety to our songs, but I think there’s some gnarly guitar sounds on it. It well recorded, by Johnny SangsteI, I will say that.

Mark – In the four songs that I play, I didn’t use any fuzz, I just used over drive so I’m pussying out.

So you guys have been writing songs for a while now. Over the years do you feel your influences and what make you want to write songs have changed?

Steve – They’ve been added onto, the list of influences has grown, definitely through the years . I don’t think there’s any one type of 20^th or 21^st century music that at least one of us doesn’t like.

Mark – I would say metal funk and rap metal, everyone in the band does not like that.

Steve – Besides that! You know, you try to bring other influences into the mix. It’s not like it’s a default setting, but it’s what we do at the moment.
