En un reciente concierto de los Stone Temple Pilots se pudieron escuchar gritos de: «Que te jodan, Chester», por parte de una sección del público que asistía al concierto. Weiland también en un concierto contó su opinión acerca de esos gritos

En una nueva entrevista con XFM, el bajista de Nirvana Krist Novoselic habló sobre el tema inédito de la reedición de In Utero: “Forgotten Tune, es una canción instrumental y todavía se está desarrollando, parte de ella es un viejo riff de Nirvana del 87 o 88. Es lo que puedo decir de ella «.

In a new interview with XFM, Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic discussed the In Utero reissue and the unreleased Nirvana track “Forgotten Tune” which is featured on the reissue, “It’s an instrumental tune and it was still being developed, part of it is an old Nirvana riff from 87 or 88. That I can recognize about it.”
He also told XFM, “It just got lost on the shelf and I’m like ‘what’s this?’ It’s a song we were putting together – part of it’s an old Nirvana riff, it’s probably from ’87 or ’88 and so they go ‘what do you want to call it’ and I go, ‘lets call it Forgotten Tune’.”
“Something new, that hasn’t been heard before that hasn’t been all over the internet or traded with bootleggers, that’s always a cool score. Because a lot of time those great fans beat us to it so this time we got one up on them.”

El año próximo será importante para Foo Fighters según han hecho saber Dave Grohl y Chris Shiflett en sendas entrevistas.
Por un lado, Grohl, hablando con la XFM explicó que el nuevo disco del grupo ya está compuesto y espera publicarlo el año próximo.
Aún falta un poco. No está aún listo para que ocurra pero creo que el año que viene será, sin duda, un gran año para Foo Fighters.
Shiflett, en otra entrevista con la Rolling Stone, confirmaba las fechas avanzadas por Grohl.
Empezamos a hacer el nuevo disco de Foo Fighters hace unas pocas semanas. Hemos empezado a ensayar. Ha sido un paréntesis muy corto. Vamos a empezar el nuevo disco de Foo Fighters a principios del próximo año.

For one, Grohl, talking to XFM explained that the new album of the band and is made and expected to be published next year.
«It’s a little way off,» Grohl explained, talking to XFM last week (August 16). «It’s not ready to happen right now, but I think next year is going to be a really big year for the Foo Fighters without question.»
Shiflett, in another interview with Rolling Stone, confirmed the dates advanced by Grohl:
«It was a very short hiatus,» he said with a smile. «We’re going to start recording the new Foo Fighter record at the beginning of next year.»
Creo que no hace falta decirlo. Ya estaréis observando estos días que apenas pongo noticias. Esto es porque estoy dándome un pequeño descanso veraniego, merecido creo, de todo lo relacionado con Seattle. No será muy largo, 2 semanas, 3 como mucho.
Lo bueno es que a la vuelta vendré con cosas más que interesantes. Espero no os importe demasiado y que disfrutéis del verano.
