Sleater-Kinney to release a new album the 19th of January

Sleater-Kinney están oficialmente de vuelta. El 19 de enero del próximo año pondrán a la venta “No Cities To Love”, disco que la banda ha estado grabando de forma «secreta» a lo largo de este año 2014.

Carrie Brownstein dice que “sonamos poseídas en estas canciones – dispuestas de nuevo a existir por el peso de esta banda y lo que significa para nosotras“.

Se medio sabía que iban a volver tras la salida de un box set con los discos de toda su carrera con el título “Start Together”, que incluía un 7 pulgadas con una canción nueva y una fecha (la fecha de publicación del nuevo disco). Aquí la noticia del box-set.

Sleater-Kinney are officially back. On 19th of January they’re going to release “No Cities To Love”, a new album that the band has been recording in a «secret» way throughout this year.

Carrie Brownstein says «we sound possessed in these songs – we’re back because the weight of this band and what it means for us.»
