Apenas el mes pasado, la policía determinó que Scantlin fue arrestado por DWI (Driving while intoxicated) en Minnesota después de sobrepasar cuatro veces el límite legal de velocidad después de competir contra la policía en una persecución a alta velocidad. Ahora desde TMZ se dice que Scantlin fue arrestado la madrugada del miércoles (05 de agosto) en Dakota del Sur.
Según los informes, la policía determinó que Scantlin conducía bajo la influencia del alcohol. También fue citado por posesión de marihuana. El cantante fue liberado por 500 dólares de fianza y actuó en Dakota del Sur ayer por la noche.

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin continues to run afoul of the law. For the second time in under a month, the vocalist was arrested for driving under the influence.
Just last month, Scantlin was busted for DWI in Minnesota and reportedly blew four times the legal limit after leading police on a high-speed chase. Now comes word from TMZ that Scantlin was arrested early Wednesday morning (Aug. 5) in South Dakota.
According to reports, police determined that Scantlin was driving under the influence. He also was cited for possession of marijuana. The vocalist was released on $500 bail and performed in South Dakota last night.
Over the last few years, Scantlin has amassed a significant rap sheet. Earlier this year, the band had to delay a show after the vocalist was arrested for taking a joy ride on a baggage carousel at an airport. Some of his other past offenses include vandalizing a neighbor with a buzz saw and sledgehammer, allegedly attacking his ex-wife, two warrants for speeding, having an arrest warrant issued after failing to show for a cocaine possession progress report and owing more than $60,000 in back taxes
