Ayer noche, Billy Corgan llevó a cabo un concierto acústico de 3 horas en el Ravinia Festival de Chicago en el que, con un setlist de 31 temas, repasó éxitos de The Smashing Pumpkins (“Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness”, “Tonight, Tonight o “1979″), rarezas (“The Rose March”, “Lonely Is the Name”), temas nuevos (“Burnt Orange Black”) o debutó algunos otros por primera vez en directo (“Methusela”), según leemos en Consequence of Sound.
Los bises tuvieron miga ya que Corgan tocó una versión ‘ambient’ del tema “The World’s Fair” de su proyecto inédito ChicagoSongs/ChicagoKid y cerró la noche con el “Of a Broken Heart” de Zwan acompañado por miembros de su liga de lucha libre.

Last night, Billy Corgan performed an acoustic concert for 3 hours at the Ravinia Festival in Chicago in which, with a setlist of 31 songs, reviewed successes of The Smashing Pumpkins («Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness», «Tonight, Tonight or «1979»), rarities («The Rose March», «Lonely Is the Name»), new songs («Burnt Orange Black») or some other debuted live for the first time («Methusela»), as stated in Consequence of Sound.
The encores were awesome because Corgan played an ‘ambient’ version of «The World’s Fair» from his unpublished project ChicagoSongs / ChicagoKid and closed the night with «Of a Broken Heart» of Zwan, accompanied by members of his wrestling league .
