Tied to a Star será sucesor de Several Shades of Why del 2011; este nuevo disco fue producido por el mismo Mascis e incluye las colaboraciones de Cat Power, Mark Mulcahy y más.

J Mascis, best known as the leader and voice of Dinosaur Jr. will release on August 25 his second solo album, Tied to a Star. «Every Morning» is a song from this album, song that today J Mascis has shared with us.
Tied to a Star will be the successor of Several Shades of Why (2011). This new album was produced by Mascis himself and includes collaborations with Cat Power, Mark Mulcahy and more.
