Foo Fighters announce new UK dates for cancelled gigs

El grupo – Dave Grohl, los guitarristas Chris Shiflett y Pat Smear, el bajista Nate Mendel, el baterista Taylor Hawkins y el tecladO Rami Jaffee – se vio obligado a cancelar su actuación como cabeza de cartel en sus conciertos de junio por motivos médicos, pues el cantante Dave Grohl se fracturó una pierna al caer fuera del escenario en Gotemburgo, Suecia.
Han anunciado dos fechas en Milton Keynes Bowl el 5 y 6 de septiembre, con el invitado especial Iggy Pop, y uno en el estadio Murrayfield de Edimburgo el 8 de septiembre, en el que se unirán a Royal Blood y a Honeyblood
«Nuestra banda siempre os ha apoyado, y nosotros siempre tendremos vuestro apoyo. Como digo en cada show, no estaríamos aquí si no fuera por vosotros. Y me refiero a eso «, dijo Dave después de su lesión.
«Os lo agradezco desde el fondo de mi corazón. Y voy a hacer todo lo posible para volver y daros una noche para recordar por el resto de vuestras vidas lo antes posible «.
La pre-venta de las entradas comienza el 15 de julio, después estarán disponibles el 17 de julio a las 10h.
A los fans que compraron entradas para los conciertos originales de junio en el estadio de Wembley se les ofrecerá una asignación exclusiva de entradas para comprar por adelantado para los conciertos de la banda en el Milton Keynes Bowl, mientras que los fans con fechas anteriores, el 23 de junio, también tendrán la oportunidad de comprar entradas para el show en el BT Murrayfield Stadium, el 8 de septiembre.

The group – Dave Grohl, guitarists Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear, bassist Nate Mendel, drummer Taylor Hawkins and keyboardist Rami Jaffee – was forced to cancel their headlining performance at Glastonbury and their June tour dates on medical grounds after frontman Dave fractured his leg after falling off stage in Gothenburg, Sweden.
They have announced two dates at Milton Keynes Bowl on September 5 and 6, with special guest Iggy Pop, and one at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on September 8, joined by Royal Blood and Honeyblood.
“You have always stood by our band, and we will always stand by you. Like I say at every show, we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you guys. And I mean that,” Dave said after his injury.
“I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And I will do everything I can to come back and give you a night to remember for the rest of your lives as soon as possible.”
Pre-sale tickets begin on July 15, before tickets are available on July 17 at 10am.
Fans who bought tickets for the original June shows at Wembley Stadium will be offered an exclusive allocation of tickets to buy up front for shows by the band at Milton Keynes Bowl, while previous customers for the June 23 show will also have the chance to to purchase tickets for the show at BT Murrayfield Stadium on September 8.
