Alice In Chains to begin work on new album in 2015

Alice In Chains lanzaron The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here en mayo de 2013, y hace poco han terminado con la gira de presentación del disco. Mike Inez habló sobre la larga gira en una nueva entrevista con Lucas H Gordon.

«Acabamos de hacer un recorrido de 28 o 29 países, que acaba de terminar en Canadá, así que estaremos sin hacer nada hasta primavera, nos tenemos que tomar un descanso ahora. Tengo la oportunidad de venir y pasar el rato con mi bella esposa, quedarme en casa en Los Ángeles, visitar a mi abuela… Es bueno estar en casa. Es un poco raro de todas formas, andas viviendo en hoteles y coches por todo el mundo, y entonces te encuentras en casa y no tienes que hacer nada el día siguiente. Es genial estar de nuevo en casa, eso seguro»

Añadió que la banda ya está hablando sobre trabajar en su sexto disco de estudio, «Estamos hablando de empezar a ensayar de nuevo en primavera».

Alice In Chains released The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here in May 2013, and recently wrapped up touring behind the album. Mike Inez discussed the lengthy tour in a new interview with Lucas H Gordon.

“We just did about a 28 or 29 country tour, we just ended in Canada, so we’re off until spring time, so we get to take a break now. I get to come and hang with my beautiful wife, stay home in LA, visit my Grandmother. It’s nice to be home. It’s kind of weird though, you’re living in hotels and touring around the world, then you’re home and you don’t have a lobby call the next day. It’s nice to be home though, that’s for sure.”

He added that the band are already discussing plans for working on their sixth studio album, “We’re talking about starting to jam in the spring again.”
