Neil Young, Jack White Cut Vinyl Record Live on ‘Tonight Show’

Neil Young y Jack White grabaron anoche en el programa de Jimmy Fallon un tema directamente en vinilo en la cabina de grabación en vinilo Voice-o-Graph de 1947 en el que Young grabó su último disco, “A Letter Home”. En el programa, los dos artistas mostraron como funciona la cabina grabando Young un cover del “Crazy” de Willie Nelson. Una vez terminada la grabación, se editó en vinilo y distribuido al terminar el show.

Neil Young made history Monday night on The Tonight Show, performing «Crazy» as Jack White pressed the song onto vinyl live before the studio audience. Creciendo en la escena Grunge a finales de los 80s, la banda tuvo éxito comercial a prinicipios de los 90s pero se perdierón allá por el 2001. Vuelven a los escenarios para tocar unas cuantas canciones de su próximo disco, Do to the Beast.

(…) Also performing on the show, returning with their first album in 16 years, are the Afghan Whigs from Cincinnati, Ohio. Rising up around the grunge scene in the late 80s, the band had commercial success in the early 90s but called it a day in 2001.
